Directions to Lake Okeechobee & Roland Martin's Marina
Clewiston, Florida
FROM WEST PALM BEACH AIRPORT: Get
on Southern Blvd heading west. This will turn into SR-80 & 441 West you will
follow this (approximately 45min) till you come to a stop light with a municipal
building on your left. You will make a left at this light which puts you on 80
west. Following 80 west through the town of Belle Glade you will come to the
town of South Bay were the road will merge to your right. This will put you on
US 27 north. Continue on US 27 North passing through the town of South Bay. (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through these small towns....especially South Bay!)
Following US-27 North the next town is Clewiston (your almost there) When you
come into the town of Clewiston turn right at first traffic light (You will see
a Kelly Tractor place on your right). Go approximately 2 blocks and you will see
a Grey motel on your right. This is Roland Martin's Motel. Turn right at
Roland's sign. Roland Martin's Marina is located behind the motel. Their # is
1-800-473-6766 Roland's opens up at 5am and serves breakfast. Enter the marina and
go to the front desk and ask for Capt. Mike.

South Bay Exit. Continue on US 27 North passing through the town of South Bay. (Caution: Be sure to obey the legal speed limits through
South Bay!) Following US-27 North the next town is Clewiston (you're almost there)

for SR-80 East to
Labelle. Continue on SR-80 East until you come to US 27. Here you will make a
right onto US 27 South, this will bring you to the town of Clewiston. Once you
come into Clewiston you will go through 5 lights and on your 6th light (you will
see a Dixie fried chicken on your right) you will
make a left onto Francisco. Go

If you follow the directions from Map Blast, it will take you a different route. The following directions are about the same mileage but has less stop and go traffic. So choose what's best for you.
My directions: Follow the signs to Florida's Turnpike head south on the
turnpike and Exit at
Yee Haw Junction. Now make a right and you will go 1/4 mile at the most. Now take
441 South to Okeechobee city. Go through Okeechobee and turn right onto SR-78.
Follow SR-78 till you come to 27. Here you will make a left onto 27 heading
south.
Follow 27 South through the town of Moore haven continuing on till you come to
the town of Clewiston. Once you come into Clewiston you will go through 5 lights
and on your 6th light you will make a left onto Francisco (you will see a Dixie

Take I-275 South across the Skyway Bridge and onto I-75 South. Follow I-75 South to Exit 41 / SR-70 East. This will take you through the town of
